TailWell® Power Tail Trimmer works with all cordless screwdrivers (min. 14 volts) with approx. 1,250 rpm. TailWell2® Power Tail Trimmer is quiet and provides consistent trimming. Mowing only lasts max. 4 seconds per tail. Operation is based on the oscillation of an external blade around an internal blade, thus ensuring total protection against injuries for animals and humans. Regular lubrication, as with any mowing device, is important and should be carried out every 30th and at most 50th mowing. Even if the bristles are very dirty or have scabs, it is not necessary to pre-cut them. The charged battery should be able to mow between 100 and 200 tails, depending on the degree of soiling.

The Tailwell power tail trimmer is secured by way of the chuck shank into any suitable cordless drill of 14 volts or better, and operating at approx 1200-1750rpm. Tailwell is quiet in use, with a smooth fast cutting action. Trimming takes only 3 or 4 seconds per tail, and is easily accomplished during milking. The outer blade oscillates over a stationary inner blade, so there is no risk of injury to the cow. Even dirty dag-ends feed smoothly over the trimmer. Pre-cutting the tail's switch is not necessary. This is a sturdy precision tool that will withstand considerable use. A neck strap is incorporated so the device can be hands-free between cows.
